E.I. Team, in association with Butler Rogers Baskett Architects, were retained to design new offices for Nixon Peabody's Buffalo Office.  The law firm had outgrown their existing space and decided to look at options for expansion to 20,000 sf.  Options included:

1. Maintain current space and expand to floor below
2. Stay in same building and move to the top two floors
3. Move to another building  that was in planning stages and occupy one floor
4. Move to another building and convert 1 ½  floors of unfinished space.

Final decision was item 4 above that involved complete tenant fit out on floors 5 and ½ of 4.  The project incorporates space for 12 Partners, 15 Associates, 27 other staff in addition to conference rooms, support space, a lunchroom, and a multi purpose room for 50. The development of Construction Documents was compressed into 2 months on a fast track basis due to need to be out of existing space by a specific in date.
